Virtual Prototyping

Using state of the art CAE applications, we can virtually run the molding/casting process before you even cut a piece of tool steal. It helps in identifying a variety of potential problems and improvements for a Tool.

Some advantages of Virtual prototyping:

Injection Moulding
A Mould flow analysis will help you to build better plastic parts with a lower set up time and cost. It will help to find the correct tool layout and runner designs. This analysis is designed to give you a complete report that will eliminate the expensive process of trial and error and will help you to get good plastic injection moulded parts the first time the tool is opened. Another benefit of the Mould flow analysis is optimal weld line placement. We can run the injection moulding cycle multiple times with various settings and gate locations to push weld lines to an acceptable location much quicker and cheaper than making physical changes in your tool. A mould analysis can help predict short shots. Short shots are a legitimate concern for those involved in creating plastic parts. If you have a component with variable wall thickness, it is important to run an analysis to make sure these areas will fill out and you will not have a short shot in the plastic part.
Pressure Die Casting
Most of the defects in castings are associated with the errors in filling the die and the solidification of the part. The mould filling simulation simulates the flow of melt in the die casting die and provides information on filling behavior, temperature field and potential cold-flow points. The determination of the optimum die temperature is a key criterion for the quality of castings. A solidification simulation is performed to verify the component geometry. By analysis, wall thickness and material collections are optimized.
